Waka Flocka Flame Arrested for Carrying Loaded Gun at Airport
One week after Too Short was arrested for a similar offense, Waka Flocka Flame is the latest rapper to get caught for carrying a loaded gun into an airport.
Waka, 28, was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta on Friday (Oct. 10) morning after the TSA found a loaded firearm in his bag during a security screening, reports TMZ. He did not have a permit to carry the weapon.
The Atlanta rapper, whose birth name is Juaquin James Malphurs, was taken to the Clayton County Jail on charges of carrying a weapon in a prohibited place. The gun issue could mean more trouble for Waka since he’s a convicted felon and currently on probation stemming from a charge of possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
He was investigated by federal authorities last month after his wife Tammy Rivera Instagrammed a photo with him holding a gun.
