Lil Uzi Vert Accepts Plea Deal For Assault Case

The case involved his ex-girlfriend and rapper SAINt JHN.

In an assault case involving his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Byrd and rapper SAINt JHN, Lil Uzi Vert accepts a plea deal.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says Uzi pleaded no contest in court, including one count each of felony assault with a firearm and a misdemeanor injury.

Uzi, 26, received three years of formal probation, 1 year of mental health and substance abuse treatment, 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling, restitution and a 10-year criminal protective order.

He accepted the plea deal following prosecutors charging him with a total of three felonies: assault with a firearm, criminal threats and domestic violence, and not failing to mention a misdemeanor charge of carrying a loaded firearm.

The alleged incident between the three went down in early July 2021 at Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood. Byrd filed a police report, informing authorities that Uzi struck her in the stomach with a firearm. Uzi allegedly hopped out of a SUV and confronted everyone at the table, before a physical altercation with SAINt JHN went down.

At the time of this report, TMZ sources say JHN, 35, and Byrd, 27, were meeting up to discuss a business project.

TMZ sources said Uzi threw a punch at JHN but it didn’t land. Uzi ended up falling and his gun fell out. It was then that Byrd got up from her seat and confronted Uzi. He allegedly hit her and put the gun to her midsection.  She reportedly sought medical treatment following the incident.

Uzi and Bryd called it quits on their on-and-off relationship in 2016.
