Philly MC Meek Mill Responds to Shannon Sharpe Being Let Go From ESPN
On Wednesday night, after the announcement of Shannon Sharpe’s separation from the sports network, ESPN, rapper Meek Mill commented, "Y’all too old to be getting fired fr......"
This comes after ESPN announced on Wednesday, July 30, that Sharpe will no longer be on the network. This was less than two weeks after Sharpe settled a $50 Million lawsuit involving his ex-girlfriend, reports Complex.
Sharpe had this to say:
"Obviously, I'm sure everybody's heard the news by now that I will not be returning to ESPN," he said in a recent episode of his Nightcap podcast. "I found out this information a little earlier in the week and really the only thing that I really ask is like, guys, could we wait until Monday. My brother's going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I really wanted it to be about him and I wanted it to be about my family."
As for Meek Mill the Philly rapper continues to connect with fans on social media. In a recent post he shared, 'I feel like I'm one of the best rappers in the world living respectfully!'. And in recent days he has posted links to new music.
