North Carolina A&T Wins 2021 HBCU Sports Band of the Year
This is the Blue and Gold Marching Machine’s third time winning since 2016.
The Blue and Gold Marching Machine of North Carolina A&T is the official winner of the 2021 HBCU Sports Band of the Year.
According to HBCU Sports, this is the third time the university has won with Dr. Kenneth Ruff as the director. Ruff was named the band director in 2016.
A poll conducted from Jan. 14 to Jan. 21, had North Carolina A&T with 223,329 and Alabama State's Mighty Marching Hornets in second place with 156,501 votes.
HBCU Sports will make a donation of $2500 to the band program.
