Kathy Griffin Slams Kevin Hart Over His Race, And Twitter Is Up In Arms

She clearly messed with the wrong one.

Comedienne Kathy Griffin recently expressed that she has a problem with her fellow comics who refrain from using political themes in their stand-up routines, specifically as it pertains to criticizing Donald Trump.

In a recent interview, however, she set her target on one particular comedian who adopts this practice, Kevin Hart, and her critique of his approach rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

While speaking with USA Today, Griffin expressed that, in her opinion, Hart is a "p***y" for not incorporating Trump into his material.

"I do feel like this is such an anxiety-ridden time for everyone that there is a thirst for all kinds of comedy," she said. "And look, if you want to not hear about Trump at all, go see Kevin Hart. He doesn't even mention Trump."

Griffin, who is currently embarking on a tour where she makes it a point to consciously bash the POTUS and his administration, went on to drag Hart some more. However, this time she attempted to claim that his race should be a prerequisite for his obligatory public hate for the president.

"I personally think that's a p***y move because he's a Black man," she continued. "But, I guess he's selling more tickets than I ever will."

Throughout her statement and critique, Griffin never once criticized her fellow white comedians who choose to stay away from political themes in the same breath. In fact, this appeared to be a major point of concern for those who read her comments.
