The Mic Allegedly Thrown by Cardi B is on Ebay for $1 Million
The much talked about microphone chucking incident during Cardi B’s 2023 Las Vegas nightclub show is back in the news.
According to Complex, someone has put the infamous mic up for sale on the selling platform, Ebay for $1 million or "best offer." If purchased, the buyer will receive a"notary letter from the company that supplied the equipment.”
The listing on Ebay notes that, “A portion of the sale of this microphone will go to the charity NAACP” and includes the following:
“First & for most, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims that were hit with this infamous microphone thrown by Cardi B. back on July 29th, 2023, at Drai's outdoor nite club. Wishing them a speedy recovery.
Please see picture #2 for details and the notary letter from the company that supplied the equipment to Drai's in Las Vegas for the Cardi B. concert back on July 29th, 2023. I have blurred out the company's name & signature on this listing, but it will be on the original document when I send out the microphone to the buyer.”
Although no criminal charges were brought against the rapper, the mic-throwing did lead to a civil lawsuit.
