Ice-T Responds To Airline Passenger Who Was Punched By Mike Tyson

The heavyweight boxing champion showed one heckler what will happen if you cross the line!

Now that a recent video clip of heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has gone viral after he punched an airplane passenger on a JetBlue flight, rapper Ice-T is responding to the incident and is in full support of the pugilist’s punch.

In case you missed it, Tyson was seated on a plane when the passenger seated behind him started to taunt and provoke Tyson. After reaching his breaking point, the 55-year-old stood up and punched the passenger.

On Thursday (April 21), Ice-T made it clear that he didn’t see anything wrong with what happened and shared that people have become a little too comfortable with taunting and bullying.

“Mike Tyson punched somebody who was Fn with him,” the rapper wrote on Twitter. “The problem is nowadays, MFs think they WON’T get punched in the Face.”

He continued his comments in a follow-up tweet stating that there is a difference in consequences when you are spewing hate online versus in person.

According to TMZ, the heckler in the video was identified as Melvin Townsend III, he is seen continuously agitating Tyson before throwing a bottle which just missed the former heavyweight champ’s head, to which Tyson reacts by punching him.

Townsend reportedly has an extensive criminal record, which includes convictions for crimes including fraud, grand theft, burglary, possession of controlled substances and trafficking in stolen property.
