Wu-Tang Clan Visits The Daily Show

All nine members reunite to talk A Better Tomorrow, debut new single, "Ron O'Neal."

The Wu-Tang Clan swarmed The Daily Show with full force Tuesday (Aug. 7). All nine members –– RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Cappadonna, Ghostface Killah and Method Man –– were on hand to perform their new single, "Ron O'Neal," and discuss A Better Tomorrow, out this November.

Getting the Killer Bees together was indeed an "historic" moment, as host Jon Stewart noted. The Wu has been going through some issues as a collective, mainly with Raekwon and RZA not on the same page about the new album. Everything appears to be settled at the moment.

"We all striving for a better tomorrow," RZA pointed out. "Wu-Tang, we have something in common with each other, a brotherhood, a respect. And when we say, 'a better tomorrow,' we're striving to make a better tomorrow for ourselves but also to inspire a better tomorrow for the world."

Rae offered his perspective on whether "creative," "business" or "political" challenges weighed heaviest in getting them back together. "I would say it's all of these things because you know we're trailblazers in the music business," explained the Chef. "We been around the world, we doin' our job. I consider this a sport. I think it's important as an athlete of music, to make sure that you got your business together. To make sure that you feel happy at whatever you want to do."

The Wu wrapped up their guest appearance by performing "Triumph" from their 1997 album, Wu-Tang Forever is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
