Tyra Banks has said it took her five years to write her first novel, a young adult fiction book called Modelland, but the hard work paid off. The book debuted at number 2 on the New York Times Bestselling Author list for children's chapter books.
Modelland is the first in a three-part book series and rumor has it the reality TV mogul has her eyes on turning the “Harry Potter meets America’s Next Top Model”  story into a movie. “I would love to open up the Modelland casting to the world,” she said. “I’m looking for an Everygirl to possibly play one of the characters in the story.”
