Megan Thee Stallion Calls Tory Lanez a 'Demon,' Insists He Shot Her
Megan Thee Stallion went to TikTok to confront Tory Lanez over new claims that he didn't shoot her in July 2020.
In January, Megan, born Megan Pete, was granted a five-year restraining order against Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, but a non-profit organization, Unite the People, has taken up for the Canadian artist. Last week, a press conference was held on Lanez's behalf, accusing Megan's former friend, Kelsey Harris, of shooting the three-time Grammy winner, as allegedly witnessed by Harris' bodyguard. Lanez is serving a ten-year sentence after being convicted of three felonies in the incident.
Just days after the conference, Megan broke her silence on Monday, May 19, doubling down on accusing Lanez of shooting her, which she also recounted in her Prime Video documentary 'Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words.'
"At what point are yall gonna stop making me have to re live being shot BY TORY !? At what point are Tory and yall FANS gonna stop lying?,” read Megan's post on TikTok. "Like, how much is the check to keep harassing me? Why is this happening EVERY DAY?"
The Houston rapper also alleged inconsistencies in Lanez's recollection of the 2020 incident. "I’m sick of this s*** LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!! HE AINT DARE GET ON THAT STAND AND DENY HE SHOT ME AND THAT WAS HIS CHOICE BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE DID THAT S***!" she continued. IDGAF ABT A BLOG OR A BOT!!! WHY IN TF WOULD ME … MEGAN THEE STALLION HAVE TO LIE ON THIS MF ABT SHOOTING ME!"
Megan continued to insist that "facts are facts" and that Lanez has spread an online "hate campaign" against her.
"TORY YOU SHOT ME !! Ain’t no new f****** evidence yall been saying the same s*** for years,” she wrote.
Shortly after the UTP press conference, Megan's lawyer, Alex Spiro, issued a statement saying that the case was “properly adjudicated through the court system" and "resolved in the court of law."
