Druski’s Courtside Post With Sky Bri Had Him Apologizing To Dr. Umar

Trolling, romance, or both? A cheeky caption referencing the popular Pan-Africanist sent fans into a frenzy.

“I’m sorry Dr. Umar,” comedian Druski captioned a carousel he posted on social media prominently featuring a white OnlyFans model, Sky Bri.

The post quickly sparked dating rumors, jokes, and a spirited debate about Dr. Umar Johnson’s controversial views on interracial relationships, namely “snow bunnies (never).”

The photos of Bri and Druski were taken at a recent Knicks game and circulated across Instagram and X, showing the two smiling together. Within hours, commenters and pop-culture outlets analyzed the “sorry” caption as either a tongue-in-cheek jab or a deliberate cultural provocation aimed at Dr. Umar, the outspoken activist who has argued publicly that Black men should not pursue relationships with white women.

In 2024, Dr. Umar said, “The white woman for the Black man is a white surrender flag he holds up to the white power structure to say, ‘I am buck-broken and I’m here for being taken.”

Social users flooded Druski’s comments with laughing emojis and speculation about whether the moment was a romance, a stunt, or a deliberate poke at Dr. Umar’s views. Fans pointed out the timing: as Druski posted this during Black History Month, and many users treated Druski’s caption as a comedic performance, rather than a sincere apology.

Many viewers questioned the optics, arguing that the post risks stoking division or reinforcing the policing of Black men’s personal dating choices. It could be as simple as trolling, however, Druski has been known to show his affinity for white women.

Neither Druski nor Bri issued a clarifying statement beyond the Instagram post, and Dr. Umar has not publicly responded to the caption. For now, the internet’s verdict is split — equal parts amusement, drama, and trolling — which, for a comedian built on viral sizzle, may be the point.
