NYPD: $2,500 Reward for Info in Chinx's Murder
The investigation into Chinx’s murder has hit a standstill and authorities are reaching out to the public for help. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information into the 31-year-old rapper’s murder, the NYPD announced Wednesday.
Authorities have yet to find a motive for the shooting, but Chinx’s family members reportedly believe he was killed by a rival.
The native New Yorker, born Lionel Pickens, was gunned down in Queens, NY, in May. Chinx was sitting in his car with a friend when another vehicle pulled up and began shooting, police said. He was hit 15 times, and the friend was shot as well, although the injuries were not fatal.
