Tiffany & Co. is known most for their high-priced luxury items, but one of their latest products has many scratching their heads and wondering how its "humble roots" can warrant such a hefty price.

One of the many folks confused by the price tag is Steve Harvey, who took to his talk show to share his opinion.

While talking about Holiday gift ideas, Steve brought up Tiffany's $1,000 tin can product — you read that right — urging his audience to "sit down for this one" before explaining the story.

"If you don't sit down, this one gon' knock you down," he said.

After showing a picture of the basic item on the screen in his studio, the audience erupted in laughter not even knowing the price tag attached to it.

"This is not a joke," he said. "This is a Tiffany's tin can that you can buy your loved one for guess how much: $1,000."
