Izaich Mardis was last seen leaving home for school, but he never arrived and hasn’t been heard from since, officials say.

Police in Roseville, Minnesota are seeking help from the public in order to locate a missing teenage boy.

CBS Minnesota reports that 14-year-old Izaich Mardis was last seen leaving his home for school on Tuesday (December 14) but never arrived and hasn’t been heard from since.

Mardis was wearing a gray puffy coat with a red hooded sweatshirt underneath, black sweat pants and a Minnesota Twins stocking cap and backpack.

According to local news website Bringmethenews.com this is not the first time Mardis has turned up missing. In 2019, Mardis, who was living in foster care at the time, ran away from the home where he was staying but was found three weeks later with his biological mother, who had lost legal custody of him.

Mardis was found unharmed and placed in protective custody and his mother was arrested and charged with deprivation of parental rights and obstruction of justice. It is unclear what happened in her case.

If you have any information about Izaich Mardis’ whereabouts, please call the Roseville police via the Ramsey County Dispatch Center at 651-767-0640 or dial 911.
