Last year, Halle Berry filed for divorce from her husband, Oliver Martinez, but considering it's been a year and the two haven't moved forward in the process, many are speculating if they are reconciling their reported differences.

In a new interview, the 50-year-old actress opens up about her publicized divorce, revealing that she's finally in a really good place, and therefore consequently, making things a bit more confusing for those wondering what's going on.

"I just feel happy, you know?" Berry shares. "I've arrived at a really good place once again, that's always good news. Down time, dark times, don't last forever -- the sun is out again and it feels great."

Meanwhile, just last month, a judge reminded the couple that if they don't proceed with their divorce filing soon, it could be dismissed given the time frame.

A source close to the couple told People that there is "no real change" and also that "nothing is happening," between the two in regards to getting back together. However, considering the former couple has gone on vacation and spent time together as a family following their divorce announcement, it's only natural that where their relationship status stands has remained in question.

While it is wonderful to hear that amidst all the drama Berry is in good spirits, but it still sounds like both parties are avoiding the pressure recently put on them by the L.A. Superior Court clerk.
