The upcoming nationwide release of Marvel's Black Panther is already being marked as one of the most highly anticipated and virally fervent moments in recent popular culture.
Before the public gets to revel in the expected greatness of the film, though, its official premiere in Hollywood kicked off, and the cast displayed one thing, in wide array, at the event: Black excellence.
The theme of the night was undoubtedly "Black Royalty" as the likes of Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Michael B. Jordan, the film's director, Ryan Coogler, its star, Chadwick Boseman, and several more, all showed up and showed out in both their traditional and modern African garb.
Needless to say, Twitter went into a frenzy once photos from the purple carpet event were posted online, showing the majority Black cast shining in all of its deserved glory.
