Over the weekend, Soulja Boy and Bow Wow took turns on Instagram sharing the albeit random news that not only did they link up to create a joint album, but that the project would promptly be dropping today (October 25).
Now that their selected date has arrived, it turns out that these two former foes weren't playing around: the project exists. The 11-track tape, Ignorant S**t, is definitely a wild card of a release, and fans on Twitter aren't totally sure what to do with it, besides, well, poke fun at it, while others hesitantly admit it's "actually good."
The project comes eight years after Soulja Boy and Bow Wow first linked up on the track "Marco Polo." The song ended up being dropped from Bow Wow's New Jack City II album due to a very public feud that unfolded shortly after recording.
Not only that, but back in August, Bow Wow announced that he was retiring from rap music altogether, which obviously, as of today, is no longer true.
With the project now released into the wild, it seems to have everyone either scratching their heads or celebrating it for what it is worth.
Take a look at some of the mixed reactions fans are having in the tweets below.
