Chief Keef Has Reportedly Been Arrested for Assault

The alleged altercation involved one of his producers.

While Chief Keef has kept his distance from the spotlight over the course of the past year, even hinting at a possible retirement back in March of 2016, the rapper has found himself on people's radars for a less-than-ideal reason.

As reported, the Chicago native has been arrested for allegedly assaulting and robbing his former producer, an incident that took place last week in his past affiliate's own home.

According to the report, Chief Keef, with the help of five of his friends, attacked Ramsay Tha Great during an armed home invasion. The producer took to Instagram to show the injuries he's since suffered, call out the situation on full blast and express that he was 100 percent going to be taking legal action.

During the producer's retelling of the events, he admits that he had gone to sleep following an argument and when he woke up 15 minutes later, he was attacked on the spot after opening the door to his home, quickly realizing that Chief Keef's crew had a "Draco AK-47-looking thing" on them.

"I never claimed to be a gangster," he says during the clip. "I always just claimed to be a producer. Y'all can say I'm a rat, whatever you want... I will see you in court."

According to TMZ, Chief Keef and another person were taken into custody as a result of the alleged incident.
