The music industry lost another legend. Chester Bennington, lead singer of rock group Linkin Park, tragically passed away at his Los Angeles residence on Thursday morning, according to LA County officials. The singer reportedly committed suicide at the age of 41.
Bennington was best known for serving as the frontman on the group's studio albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora. He and Linkin Park gained crossover attention after collaborating on their 2004 hit “Numb/Encore.” Hov and LP also dropped a collaborative EP, Collision Course that same year.
In shock at the recent loss, many celebrities hopped on social media to share their best memories and photos of the singer. Chance the Rapper was one of the first to mourn on Twitter, offering condolences to the Bennington family. Rihanna, Timbaland, Pusha T and many more shared their kind thoughts as well.
