Hype Williams reigned supreme as one of the top hip hop video directors in the ‘90s. He’s created visuals for some of the top rappers and singers of the era and made history with iconic visuals.

One of his most impressive visuals came courtesy of Missy Elliott. Known for her larger-than-life videos, Missy opened VH1’s Hip Hop Honors: The 90’s Game Changer with on-stage recreation of her Hype Williams directed “She’s A B***h.”

Rising from a pool of water in an all leather ensemble, Missy reminded us all of how dope visuals transcend over time.
