Paying homage to his longtime mentor and collaborator, Hov drew inspiration from Notorious BIG by sporting a red leather jacket, designer shades, and a gold-encrusted cane as fashioned by the late Brooklyn rapper. A simplistic yet equally striking costume that was fittingly touching with Bey channeling her inner Lil' Kim.
Or, at least that's what many of Jay's fans assumed upon coming across the photos late Monday night (Oct. 30). While Jay's costume was met with much praise, there were (of course) a few social media users who took issue with his attire.
