Cardi B Has A Message For Fans After Her 'MotorSport' Collaboration With Nicki Minaj

That goes for both Barbz Army and Bardi Gang.

When the hate doesn’t work, the naysayers will start with the lies, which is the exact formula for how some are continuing to brew controversy between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj even after their “MotorSport” collaboration.

Now that Ms. Minaj has cleared up the smoke of the imaginary beef and false conspiracies surrounding their joint femcee effort, Cardi is also stepping up to let everyone know that it’s time to end the chatter for a much larger cause.

Cardi, or “Bruella de Vil” as she crowned herself for Halloween during the interview, sat down with Complex to dish on all of the latest updates to her 2017 golden year. After describing some clues that led up to the surprise proposal from Cardi’s now-fiancé Offset, the conversation turned to Migos’ “MotorSport” track, where her and Nicki laid their respective femcee bars down.

In addition to the track being a music collaboration dream of Cardi’s, she confirmed that it was a practical way to toss out the beef buzz between her and Nicki as well.

“It’s so annoying. I feel like people wouldn’t even be satisfied even if me and her was making out on a freaking photo,” she said. “Or, if I was with any other female artist. I feel like people just want that drama because it’s just entertaining.”

Cardi provided receipts of that theory, too, circling back to the social media firestorm that blew up Nicki’s rivalry with Cardi’s fellow Bronx-bred lady lyricist Remy Ma. Besides, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper already explained that she won’t feed into controversy with any of her female counterparts for that matter because she’s too occupied with her own career. Everyone else, she said, needs to check their hypocrisy when it comes to the trouble they’ve been working so hard to stir up between her and Ms. Minaj.

“You want to know something, what pisses me off?,” Cardi continued. “What pisses me off is people constantly always want to talk about how in our community, in the urban community, how we need to get along with each other. But, these are the same people that want to see minority women against each other. They don’t do that s**t in pop music. They don’t do that s**t. But, they do it to our s**t, right? Yeah.”

A word.
