SMH: Jay-Z Left The Grammys Empty-Handed And The Internet Is Rioting

He was nominated for eight categories. Guess how many he won.

As the glitz and glamour from the biggest night in music begins to settle, one thing was made surprisingly clear: Jay Z's 4:44 was very much snubbed. 

While Hov was up for eight Grammys noms for his magnum opus, the hip-hop titan was completely shut out of each rap category as Kendrick Lamar racked up on awards. Towards the end of the star-studded night, however, many were expecting the music mogul to at least walk away with a loftier titles like Record of The Year. Unfortunately for Jigga, Bruno Mars was awarded with the prestigious accolade in what many are calling a predictable and safe outcome. 

And, as one would expect, Hov loyalists and others alike weren't too happy about it. Take a look at the uproar that ascended upon Twitter, below:
