Nicki Minaj Sent The Internet Into A State Of Emergency With A Single Threat

But only if you can take a joke...

Published May 24, 2018

Young Money first lady of rap Nicki Minaj shares a rather special bond with her fans, famously known as the allegiant Barbs Army.

She holds her fans so near and dear to her heart, in fact, that she pulls a few legs with the Barbs every now and then when they get a little too antsy with her. Take Thursday (May 23) for example, when The Pinkprint rapstress hilariously scared them into cooperation after threatening a part two of her social media hiatus that agonized the Barbs in early 2018.

  1. After keeping fans waiting all day for a surprise announcement, Nicki revealed that she'd need to postpone it in order to be fair to her international Barbs, too
  2. One restless fan, who informed Nicki that tomorrow might also be inconvenient, prompted the faux threat where she warned she could hit cancel on the annoucement and her social media accounts while she's at it...
  3. After Instagram's celebrity gossip hub The Shade Room posted Nicki's exchange with her fans, the negative commentary from non-Barbs Army members piled up, and Nicki had more than enough time for a few savage clapbacks
  4. Most of the negativity showed that the naysayers missed the joke between Nicki and her fans, which she returned to Twitter to inform the Barbs of...
  5. That didn't stop them from having a good time with their Barbs Army leader anyway, and they had the most hilarious reactions to her pretend threat to prove it...
