Last week, Ludacris surprised one Whole Foods shopper by footing the bill for her groceries. The woman, an Atlanta widow and caretaker for her “house, [her] property, four rescued dogs, two rescued cats, an elderly, blind chicken, [her] disabled brother…and [herself,]” didn't realize the kind stranger 'Chris' she'd just met was the Grammy-award winning actor/emcee until the cashier pointed him out. However, the plot twist is that he does this a lot and in several locations.

  1. The New York Times made a long-form revelation that dates back to 2010 and Luda being a good samaritan and highkey lover of Whole Foods
  2. The emcee even showed love at Publix on Mother’s Day

According to his longtime manager, Chaka Zulu, this isn’t a publicity stunt; it’s who he is. “Funny thing, Luda does these things all the time. But he doesn’t want to do interviews to highlight it. It’s just his heart.” Knowing the loving husband and father he is, this news doesn’t come as a shock to true fans, but Luda, you’re definitely appreciated. Check out the full scoop here.
