Offset's Response To Cardi B's Divorce Announcement Is Actually Heartbreaking...
Terribly unfortunate news for the Cephus family arrived on Tuesday night (December 4) when Bronx femcee Cardi B took to Instagram for a sudden breakup announcement with her husband, Offset, of one year.
The hip-hop “it” couple secretly wed in September 2017 before the Migos rap star got down on one knee live on stage at Powerhouse Philly that year. An Atlanta residence, a beautiful baby girl, a scatter of cheating scandals and a handful of joint features later, and Mr. and Mrs. Cephus have now officially called it quits. But while Cardi claims the split was mutual and was “nobody’s fault,” Offset has a different story.
Bardi first shocked fans by disclosing the sudden announcement on her Instagram
She explained that she’d been trying to work things out with her “baby father for a hot minute now,” who she also acknowledges as her good friend and good business partner. “And we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault,” she said. “It’s just I guess we grew out of love. But, we’re not together anymore. I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce, and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father, and—yeah.”

But despite Cardi’s elaborative statement and the mouthful that fans had for both parties
Offset had only two words for the real cause behind the split from his wife: “Y’all won.”
