Breaking: R. Kelly Under Investigation For Criminal Charges In Georgia

Authorities have reportedly reached out to multiple of his alleged victims.

During the aftermath of “Surviving R. Kelly,” the disgraced singer is reportedly under criminal investigation.

Just a few days after the premiere of the six-part Lifetime documentary series, the Fulton County District Attorney’s office announced they’re looking into sexual abuse allegations against Robert Kelly. Authorities have reportedly reached out to multiple women involved in the documentary, including Joycelyn Savage.

Now 23, Savage has been reportedly ordered to answer questions regarding her relationship with Kelly. She’s been living with the singer for the past several years. According to her family, Savage has been brainwashed and is prohibited from leaving Kelly’s residence or having unsupervised contact with anyone besides Kelly. Savage has denied she being held against her will.

According to The Blast, the police investigation was launched several days ago. A former employee of R. Kelly who appeared in the special, suggested Kelly probably scripted Savage’s denial.

"When the Savages first came out, talking about Joycelyn, R. Kelly had meetings to strategize to fix the situation," the anonymous former employee said. "The first thing was to put Joycelyn in front of the camera on TMZ, which is something he ordinarily would not have done. ... As far as the video Joycelyn Savage made, I would say that it was scripted, because Robert does not allow those girls to say anything that he has not told them to say."

R. Kelly is reportedly facing multiple charges, including false imprisonment. “Surviving R. Kelly” premiered on Thursday (January 3) and ended with the airing of the last two episodes on Saturday.
