On the brink of Soulja Boy's active campaign to have the greatest comeback, it seems that all that talk about being a founding father of viral sensations and being one of the few trendsetters of the culture is actually true. Pop songstress Ariana Grande dropped her new single, "7 Rings" when the clock struck midnight, but fans promptly kicked down her door.
Upon first listen, you immediately hear The Sound of Music's "My Favorite Things," but when you arrive at the chorus, the 2010 "Pretty Boy Swag" flow is loud and clear.
In a December 2018 interview with Billboard, Ari mentioned that her new approach to music would mimic that of a rapper. "My dream has always been to be—obviously not a rapper, but, like, to put out music in the way that a rapper does," she stated. "I feel like there are certain standards that pop women are held to that men aren't."
