Trina And Trick Daddy's Altercation Over Their Album Has Fans Dropping Their Jaws

Thankfully, the nearly physical exchange was thwarted by security.

We never thought we’d see the day that Miami’s star hip-hop dynamic duo Trina and Trick Daddy would go their separate ways, but unfortunately, here it is.

The growing tensions first imploded around the delay of their now-ceased-and-desisted TNT album. Trina, who remained adamant about working on the project, went berserk after a performance and following a sheisty move from Trick, who remained stagnant on the album’s production. Fans learned that Trick hit the kill switch on her mic as she started to perform her solo song, prompting a pissed-off Trina into a tearful breakdown.

On Monday night’s (March 18) Love and Hip Hop Miami reunion, Trick and Trina’s tension boiled over into more hostile territory on the subject of music yet again. According to the 44-year-old rapper, he has the “hardest” bars on their album. Trina rebutted with her own assertion, reminding that not only did she put out a mixtape while he’s remained mum on-wax for the past decade, but she also washed him on his own record. “I did your record and I murked you on the record,” she fumed at him. "Let’s talk about it! That’s why you’re mad!” Not to mention, she added, “[he’s] still doing music like [he’s] still in 1998.” By this point, the “Nann” rappers were already struggling to stay in their seats as they raged back and forth at each other with their respective arguments. But it wasn’t until Trick’s boldest claim of the night, where he asserted that “if it wasn’t for Trick Daddy, there would be no motherf**king Trina,” that security had to hold Trina back from taking things to a whole new physical level.
