Azriel Clary On R. Kelly: ‘What If I Had A Video Of Robert Coercing Me On What To Say…’
Azriel Clary continues to speak out with her truth against R. Kelly.
The 22-year-old has been distancing herself from the scorned R&B singer since she moved out of his Chicago condo in December of 2019. Most recently, the 22-year-old spoke to The Sun about her tumultuous five-year relationship with Kelly. In the explosive tell-all interview, Clary vividly alleged horrific emotional and physical abuse Kelly inflicted upon her and several other women. She also detailed the disturbing tactics Kelly employed to maintain his control, alleging that the 50-year-old filmed them doing degrading sexual acts as a form of blackmail.
On Friday (Feb. 7), Clary further claimed that she has footage of Kelly “coercing [her] on what to say, and exactly how to say it,” pondering as to whether “the hate would stop” if she released it.
A Twitter user acknowledged that Kelly’s fans probably still wouldn’t believe her.
“They will just say you edited it or set him up,” the user wrote back. “Kellz supporters don’t [give a f**k] if there’s 1000 videos. They don’t run on facts.
She posed one final thought for people who are critical of her decision to speak out against Kelly now.“Either you want all the truth or you don’t. But don’t be mad at women when they finally come forward speaking on abuse,” she said. “When is it ever okay for a woman to be beaten to the point that markings are left behind? Love is a powerful thing, but once you know better you do better.”
Clary’s admission comes on the heels of a TMZ report that she is cooperating with the federal authorities as they continue to build their case against Kelly, albeit, she has not publicly confirmed the news.
