50 Cent Sends Kevin Durant A Message After His Coronavirus Diagnosis

Fif shared hearty advice for the NBA favorite amid the unfortunate news.

Those close to the basketball community were hit with a setback on Tuesday (March 17) after the Brooklyn Nets confirmed that four players on the team tested positive for coronavirus.

  • Soon after, the team revealed that NBA favorite Kevin Durant was one of those four players. Speaking to The Athletic, KD assured his fans that he’s doing fine for now and has isolated himself in the meantime. The Brooklyn Nets also shared that the team is taking every precaution to ensure that the health of the players and staff is being looked after.

“All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff,” the statement reads. “The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization, and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”

  • Shortly after news of KD’s diagnosis broke, New York rap icon 50 Cent took to Instagram where he sent the basketball player his well wishes.

“Got damn, man. Got my boy KD @easymoneysniper get some meds and chill,” he captioned the post. In his usual fashion, Fifty had a meme on deck.

  • KD’s latest diagnosis comes as the power forward is still rehabilitating his Achilles tendon after it ruptured during the 2019 NBA playoffs against the Toronto Raptors. Many are anticipating his return to the court during the next NBA season, however, league games have been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

BET wishes Kevin Durant a speedy recovery!
