Fans of Queen Naija were concerned for the R&B songstress after she took to Instagram pleading about the whereabouts of her five-year-old son, CJ, following her ex, Chris Sails, arrest

  1. On Thursday (April 9), The Shade Room reported that Sails had been arrested for aggravated assault and is currently being held in a Texas jail. Details pertaining to his arrest have yet to surface, but the gossip hub published a photo of Sails’ mugshot and docket information. Soon after, Naija took to her Instagram Stories where she issued a distressing cry for help for fans to help her locate their son, who was in her ex-husband’s care at the time of his arrest.

“Whoever has my son, contact me NOW. If you guys know who Chris [is] around and with DM ME!!” she begged. “I can not locate my son! Nobody is answering me.”

  2. The message has since been deleted but, thankfully, it appears someone managed to get in contact with Naija. In a new post, the “Medicine” singer updated everyone that she was able to locate CJ.

“I found where my baby was [and] spoke to him. [I] will be with him soon,” she notified everyone. Naija made it clear that she would’ve never rushed to social media under normal circumstances if the situation wasn’t dire. “I posted that on my story out of fear after receiving a call from someone in [the] social services department,” she elaborated. “I then tried to contact the only [person] who I knew in Houston and nobody was answering me…[and] I don’t know anyone’s socials.”

She assured everyone that “everything is fine” now and thanked people for their help.
