Why Cardi B Deleted Her Twitter Account

The Bronx rapper issued some harsh words for fans sharing their thoughts about her marriage.

Cardi B has deleted her Twitter account after calling out fans for “harassing” Offset

  • Following the surprising news that she had filed for divorce in September,

rumors of the couple getting back together were sparked after they were photographed kissing at her 28th birthday party in Las Vegas earlier this month. After her birthday celebration where her husband gifted her with a Rolls Royce, Cardi later announced that she decided to reconcile with the Migos’ rapper via Instagram Live.

“It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. You know what I'm saying? It's really hard not to talk to your best friend," she said at the time, according to PEOPLE. We’re just really, really, really just typical two young m*therf***rs that got married early. That’s just what we are. We’re no different than y’all's dysfunctional a** relationships.”

  • But in an Instagram Live session on Saturday (October 17), the 28-year-old Bronx-bred rapper came out with some harsh words for fans interjecting their thoughts onto her marriage. “A whole bunch of 15-year-olds telling me how to live my life like I’m m*therf***ing Ariana Grande or something. Like I came from Disney or something.” Cardi began. “I’m so tired that, because of y’all, I’ve gotta continuously explain myself.”

Cardi continued, “I didn’t put my divorce out there, a f***ing court clerk put it out there. And because people are making rumors up, ‘Oh, this guy has a girl pregnant,’ this and that, I have to address it.”

  • She then addressed her fans’ treatment of Offset.

“You guys want to be harassing this n***a,” Cardi said. “Bro, if I work things out, why are you going to this n***a’s Twitter to harass him? That s**t don't make no f***ing sense,” she said. “I’m tired of it. Y’all want’ to call yourself fans, I don’t give a f**k. I do whatever the f**k I want to do. Like I love my fans and I’m grateful and thankful for what you do but some of y’all really be acting like I be sleeping with y’all.”

She added, “Offset is not the only f***ing problem that I deal with. To be honest with you, my marriage is one of the least worries that I have right now.”

Her Instagram page (@iamcardib) remains active while her Twitter account currently shows, “This account does not exist try searching for another one.”
