It’s official. Keyshia Cole has confirmed that she will  appear on the Instagram song battle series, Verzuz.

She posted a selfie on Instagram with the exciting caption. “How are you guys LONG TIME NO HEAR!!! #Versuz BATTLE OTW,” she wrote. The singer didn’t confirm who her opponent would be, but there are a couple of names in mind that fans had in the comments, citing Ashanti, Fantasia, and Teyana Taylor

Cole put her name into the ring months ago when DMX and Snoop Dogg faced off in their high-profile Verzuz match up. In the comments under the show, she asked Ashanti “was good,” which led many to believe that this was a potential challenge.

Soon after, Cole reposted a fan who tagged Ashanti and asked her to do the Verzuz with Cole.

During a discussion with Fat Joe on Instagram Live from May, Ashanti confirmed that she would be into the Verzuz if fans were open to it.

Verzuz is more significant than ever thanks to the recent intense matchup of Jeezy and Gucci Mane, who, seemingly, put a near-two-decade feud to rest at the end of the show. Swizz Beatz revealed that the show broke an “all-time livestream viewership record,” with 9.1 million people turning in to watch the match.
