Katt Williams Arrested for Bar Brawl in Seattle

Suge Knight bails the comedian out of jail.

Published December 4, 2012

After yet another run-in with police — this time in Seattle, Washington — Katt Williams has found a guardian angel in Suge Knight. The former hip hop impresario bailed the volatile comedian out of jail following his latest arrest for brawling.

Katt Williams was detained on Sunday after a fight he had at Seattle bar. During the altercation, Williams allegedly threatened people with a pool cue. TMZ reported that Williams "brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business.” According to police, the comedian followed a family outside of the bar and, once outside, he threw a cigarette at a woman as she got into her car.

After his arrest, Williams was taken into King County Jail for investigation of harassment, assault and obstructing police. On Monday morning Knight, who’s supposedly Williams’ tour manager, put up the bail for his release.

The arrest is one of several tawdry incidents involving Williams who, last we reported, slapped a Target employee. He was not arrested for that altercation.
