On baseball's opening day, new Los Angeles Dodgers owner Magic Johnson is happy to have everything out in the open.
The athlete-turned-mogul shared a heartwarming reaction with TMZ to video of his son Earvin Johnson III walking hand-in-hand with his boyfriend. "Cookie and I love EJ and support him in every way," says the former NBA all-star. "We're very proud of him."
The feeling is definitely mutual. The 20-year-old says he is "hoping and praying" for the success of his dad's newly-acquired baseball franchise, and is rooting for his old basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers, to take the NBA championship.
Johnson, who was famously diagnosed with HIV in the 1990s, continues to set a good example for Americans through his actions.
