Dwyane Wade's Court Battles With Ex-Wife Continue

Dwyane Wade's attempts to move on from his relationship with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches seem to be falling on deaf ears. Funches is trying to lure her ex back in court by filing documents claiming he beat her and gave her a sexually transmitted disease.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Funches claims that after their 2002 wedding, the violence in their relationship "increased." She says, "Dwyane Wade began to call me derogatory names more, throw things at me, hit me, take all my money from me, and even kicked me out of the house causing me not to have a place to live."

"As a means of controlling me, and as part of Dwyane Wade’s domestic violence pattern, he would often hit me, lock me in rooms and not allow me out, threaten to take my sons from me and frighten me by telling me he knows judges and that they are on his pay roll and he can take the children from me at any time he wanted," she continues. "The domestic violence and abuse continued on for several years in our family.”

Funches goes on to claim that, in 2008, the NBA player cheated on her and gave her an STD as a result.

Wade, of course, has moved on to a new relationship with Gabrielle Union. The couple got engaged this past Christmas after taking a short break from each other, during which time Wade fathered his third child. The Miami Heat star has primary custody of his two sons with Funches, despite her attempts to regain custody via lengthy court battles.
