Halle Berry's Ex: I Can't Get a Job Because of Your Husband

The Oscar-winning actress is still trying to reduce Gabriel Aubry's child support.

Halle Berry and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, are headed back to court and this time the model is fighting back. Aubry, who is the father to Berry's 6-year-old daughter, Nahla, is fighting the actress's attempt to slash his child support by more than 75 percent, claiming that he cannot work because her husband beat him up.

According to TMZ, Aubry claims that it is difficult for him to find work after a fight last Thanksgiving with Berry's husband, Oliver Martinez. Aubry says it took him six months to recover. Halle responded to Aubry's claims, saying, "There is no case, no law, no logic that says a healthy, active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns."

In exclusive documents obtained by TMZ, Halle's lawyer also claims that Aubry uses the monthly child support for his own personal needs, which include $740 a month for "fitness," $940 a month in clothing, $700 a month for his health insurance, $1,975 a month in car expenses, and $1,100 a month in furniture and electronics.

Berry splits custody with Aubry, but is trying to convince the judge to slash her payments from $16,000 to slightly over $3,000.
