Days after Darius McCrary was arrested — and subsequently released — over unpaid child support due to his baby mama, his ex-wife Karrine Steffans has admitted that she lied under oath when she claimed she saw McCrary beat his son with a spoon, reports TMZ.

The Vixen author says that she perjured herself when she joined forces with the mother of McCrary's son in the custody battle because she was "hurt and upset" over their divorce.
It's unclear how the allegations affected the custody battle, if at all, and whether Steffans will be charged for the perjury. McCrary faced up to 14 days in lockup for owing $5,500 in support.
