Young Vito, the Atlanta rapper accused in the fatal shooting of Brick Squad member Slim Dunkin, has been officially indicted by a grand jury. Vito, born Vinson Hardimon, now faces charges of murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the Associated Press reports.
Last December, Hardimon, 29, reportedly got into an argument with Dunkin — a 24-year-old friend and collaborator of Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane — while both were sharing the same recording space. The incident purportedly started as a result of a disagreement over a piece of candy, and ended with Dunkin shot in the chest. The local rap star later died at the hospital.
Hardimon turned himself in for the crime days later. A trial date has not yet been set.
