Chief Keef Forced to Pay $230,000 for No-Show

Judge orders Chicago rapper to pony up for missed concert date.

Chief Keef's offhand cool demeanor has cost him a couple 100 grand. Back in March Keef was sued by U.K. concert promoters Team Major over a scheduled show he missed in London in Decemebr 2012. Taking a lazy, nonchalant approach, the "I Don't Like" rapper simply did not respond to the suit.

Now, according to TMZ, it looks as if Keef's negligence will cost him to the tune of $230,019, even though Team Major's original claim was only for $75,000. So why did the judge order Keef to triple up on the dollar amount?

The rap star simply never responded to the lawsuit for four months, after which time the judge ruled in Team Major's favor by default. The judge specified that the $230,000 was for damages, loss of earnings and repetitional harm.

This incident is just the latest in the saga of 17-year-old Chief Keef, real name Keith Cozart, who has child support issues and has frequently been in trouble with the law since rising to stardom back in 2012.
