Gucci Mane Admits Addiction to Lean

Rapper apologizes for Twitter rant, heading to rehab.

Gucci Mane is heading to rehab for an addiction to lean, or syrup, the rapper announced on Twitter. "Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I'm so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention," began his series of tweets, referencing an incoherent and expletive-laced Twitter rant he posted earlier this month. "I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I'm SORRY!"

He continues, "I've been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit I'm addicted to lean & that shit ain't no joke. I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse."
"I'm currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help," he reveals. "I wanna thank everyone that has stood by me during this difficult time. Please keep me in your prayers."
The Atlanta rapper had a special apology for Birdman, Rick Ross and Drake. "I wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my n*****. I 100% regret my words & actions."

Sounds like Gucci hit rock bottom but is working his way back to the top. In fact, the rapper ended his Twitter confessions with a promise that he'll be back. "Wrote sum new hard s*** can't wait to get out dis hell hole so y'all can hear dis s***."
