Jay Z and Kanye West to Perform at SXSW

The rap gods will dust off Watch the Throne material for one night in Austin.

This year's South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, will feature a throwback to 2012. Jay Z and Kanye West just announced that they will perform together at the festival, making it their first joint concert since they wrapped up their Watch the Throne tour a couple of years ago.

Jay and Yeezy will headline the first night of Samsung's SXSW Concerts. The location of the show has yet to be announced, but those with the new ad-free radio service Milk Music downloaded on their Galaxy phones can pick up wristbands for it at the Galaxy Experience pop-up location in Austin, starting Tuesday morning.

This isn't Jay Z's first collaboration with the mobile phone giant. His last album, Magna Carta... Holy Grail, which dropped on July 4, was first released exclusively and for free via Samsung mobile devices. The return to Austin will be the first for both artists since they performed there separately in 2012.
