Lil Wayne's recent album pushback left many fans scratching their heads in confusion, but the Young Money leader is laying all of the doubt to rest, explaining in a P.S.A. that the LP was delayed due to a quality control issue.

According to Weezy, he recorded so many songs that he didn't want to cheat his fans with "half of a product." In order to give the fans a cohesive body of work, the "Lollipop" rapper announced that he will be releasing Tha Carter V in two parts with the first dropping on Dec. 9.

As a gift to his fans, Wayne dropped a new hard hitting single titled "Gotti" featuring The Lox. In the track, Weezy talks candidly about his rough upbringing before boasting about going platinum before he became a teenager.

Wayne is also currently featured in Nicki Minaj's newly released song "Only," which also features Young Money alum Drake and Chris Brown.
