As the investigation continues into the murder of rapper Lionel "Chinx" Pickens his wife is sharing her grief with the public. Janelli Caceres took to Facebook this morning for an emotional post on how their family has been impacted by the loss.

“My son is asking for his dad he wants him to come home he keeps asking why did God angels take his dad and when are they bringin' him back,” she wrote. “What do I say to him!!!??? To see this sadness in him is killin ... These Devils ruined my family they took a father away from his kids from his son that he loved to death...why??!”

Caceres shared more on Chinx speaking to ABC 7 News today. “It’s a very devastating situation,” she said. “His kids are greatly affected by all of this. They don’t quite understand but it will hit them soon... it's very hard. A lot of people don't understand that this was his life, was his family."

Chinx, a father to three children ages 14, 11 and 4, was killed in a drive-by early Sunday morning. Antar Alziadi, his friend and passenger at the time of the shooting, remains hospitalized. Police have not yet made any arrests. 

Meanwhile, Caceres has been sharing messages on Facebook somewhat frequently over the last several hours. Amid grieving, the mom and widow has been understandably protective over reports about her late love. She recently started a petition to remove a “faulty” Media Takeout story romantically linking Chinx to Khloe Kardashian’s bestie, Malika Haqq.
