TDE Wants the Fans to Decide Jay Rock's Album Release Date
Jay Rock’s sophomore album, 90059, has been years in the making. After teasing the project's completion last year, the Watts native is really close to putting it out. But there’s a catch.
Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith took to Instagram to announce the marketing plan for 90059. It’s been a trend in hip hop to drop an album spontaneously with little warning. Instead of following that route, Top Dawg wants to leave the release date in the hands of fans. According to him, he has “realistic goals for #90059 and its pre-order.” Once the goal is reached, the release date will be moved up.
So what are you waiting for? Pre-order it now. If you missed the track list earlier, check it out below.
