Twitter is a savage place and one that can have people catching feelings.

Maybe that’s what happened with Young Thug earlier this morning. Yesterday, Atlanta producer Metro Boomin, who has worked with Thugger, dialed up a series of tweets about Future and how no one else, according to him, can take over his lane.

"Moral of the story is, putting out 5 tapes in a year won't make you heat up like Future,” Metro tweeted in conclusion. “That was just his path. It's not for everyone. Just take all the hardest songs from the 5 tapes you plan on dropping, and make 1 tape full of fire."

That didn’t sit too well with Thug, who has released three mixtapes already this year and even has one in the works with Metro Boomin called Metro Thuggin. He took to the social media site himself and decided to ask who the hitmaker was talking about.

"Hey @MetroBoomin who u referring to ????" he tweeted, "Put some names on that s**t lil boy @MetroBoomin." He would also go on to compare himself to Michael Jackson and call Future Tito Jackson. "A n***a music couldn't ever sound nowhere near mines.... ((IM MICHEAL)) he's ((TITO))," he said, then concluded, "It's ok to ride a n***a d**k, but don't agitate another one lil n***a."

It’s unclear who Metro Boomin was actually referring to originally. He has yet to respond to Young Thug publicly. is your No. 1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
