The rapper reacts to his possible probation violation.

UPDATE: Nicki Minaj Testifies at Meek Mill's Probation Hearing

It seems we're learning not only more about Meek Mill's latest transgression but also the status of his relationship with Nicki Minaj.

Appearing in court yesterday (December 10), Meek's lawyer told the judge that Minaj would "not marry a criminal or a bum," according to TMZ. Nicki stayed silent on the topic of marrage though, not following up on an Instagram pic she posted last night of an enourmous diamond ring possibly hinting that Meek proposed to her.

No decision was made yesterday of whether Meek Mill actually violated his probabtion or not. He's due in court for his next hearing Thursday (December 17).

PREVIOUSLY:  It sounds like Meek Mill going back to prison is becoming more and more of a reality.

He just took to Instagram, presumably about his recently reported probation violation, and wrote some ominous things about his near future.

"I'm actually fighting for my life and freedom," he captioned in a picture of a phrase reading "Prayers go up, Blessings come down." "Thank you to everybody that ever supported and I will continue to b great! If this is my last post know I will continue to remain strong and grow to b a better man and set a example for every minority with a dream that anything is possible!"

It's not 100 percent certain that Meek was talking about the recently reported violation of his probation but the timing is impeccable. The line about the post possibly being his "last" isn't a good sign.

Meek Mill spent some time in prison over the past few years and now there’s a chance he could be going back.

According to TMZ, the Philadelphia rapper could have his his probation revoked after taking a trip without permission. Apparently, court docs say that as of November 1, 2015, Meek is required to obtain a travel voucher before leaving his hometown, which he presumably did not do when traveling to the AMAs in Los Angeles in late November.

He’s currently serving the probationary sentence due to a drug and gun conviction from 2009. Meek Mill’s latest mistake could have him heading back to prison and it wouldn’t be the first time he faced jail for violating probation. Last year he was put behind bars for several months for just that.
