Life is good when you’re 19 years old and a quadruple-threat force to be reckoned with. 

Zendaya has put in some serious work in her teenage years, working as a singer, actress, model and dancer, and her latest role will be as big as her talents: a leading part in the new Spider-Man reboot. 

Zendaya is rumored to play a character named Michelle, whose role will be central to key players, namely actor Tom Holland, who has been cast to play the lead as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

The singer-actress has reportedly been testing for the role for months, with some speculating that the character “Michelle” is a temporary decoy and that it will be revealed later on that Zendaya has been cast for the female lead, Mary Jane. 

We’ll have to wait as more details unfold but in the meantime, congrats, Zendaya!

The film is slated to open in theaters next summer, on July 7, 2017.
