As news of Prince’s tragic and untimely passing continues to circulate and spark conversations, his legacy is also inspiring new music.

Game decided to turn to music to help him process that the iconic figure is no longer with us.

In a new track featuring Lorine Chia and with production handled by Bongo By The Way, Game details his thoughts in a heartfelt tribute to Prince aptly titled “Rest in Purple.” 

“Prince was such a huge inspiration to my life from a child watching #PurpleRain til the time I met him at Universal Music in 2006,” the rapper wrote on Instagram. “I was a fan then & I am a fan now! His death was untimely & tragic... I'm sure the world is saddened as I was when I woke up to the news today….”
